This star has a simple pattern in the center, partially hidden behind the rays — hence the name. Many variants are possible, modifying both the central element and parts of the rays (see: Unhidden Gem Star). Some variants ended up being very similar to stars I later found out to be designed by others. The whole star is actually a tessellation molecule, though I haven’t folded any larger arrangement of such molecules yet.
