Kraft

Kraft paper is produced in a special process which results in a strong but not necessarily beautiful paper. Papers belonging to this family may differ a lot in thickness and finish, but usually the paper is brown or comes in bleak colors. It is quite common to find this paper as duo-color, with one side being its natural brownish color and the other side painted. Kraft paper is often found in rolls which make it possible to cut relatively large sheets. Some stores also sell pre-cut square sheets and art supply stores sometimes sell kraft paper notebooks with rectangular pages ranging from small to about A4 size.

Ilan Garibi reviewed Kraft paper in The Fold.
