Crown from Strip
This model is very simple, and you can probably easily reverse-engineer it even without much origami experience. Once the strip is folded into the zig-zag shape, producing a strip with jagged edges, you can connect the ends in various ways: the crown corresponds to a simple ring, but you can probably make a Möbius Strip and all sorts of knots as well.
I recommend paper which holds the crease well for this kind of models in order to prevent spontaneous unfolding. The crown shown here was folded from thick Kraft paper.
