Z-Box

This box is decorated with a tessellation molecule representing the letter Z. Though it may not be obvious from its looks, this design is closely related to the Woven Triangles family. It uses an 8×8 grid for the molecule (12×12 for the whole box). Folding it from the grid is relatively challenging due to a closed sink used for creating the diagonal stroke. Folding cleanly from a precrease without the grid comes with its own challenges, as usual. On the back of the molecule, an interesting pattern of two triangles emerges.
