Lotus Cube, made from a variant of my BBU (Building Block Units). Even though it is possible to make a cube from just 6 lotus BBU units, such an assembly is very fragile and due to the tabs being located on the inside, the last unit can not be completely locked with others. Therefore, I decided to wrap the decorative units around a stiff inner core, using 18 units altogether, which resulted in a very robust model.
