Icosahedron (Semi-Sonobe Variant B)
This model is folded in blue and yellow, the national colors of Ukraine. Three years into a terrible invasion by Russia, the people of Ukraine continue to resist murder, rape and destruction. More than ever, they need our support in their struggle against a tyrant who has enslaved his own people and will gladly do the same to others. Help, whether military or humanitarian, is not just the moral thing to do, but the thing to do in self-interest, lest we ourselves become the next victim.
Structurally an icosahedron, this spiky ball is folded from Semi-Sonobe variant B. There are lots of designs in this family of modulars I recently came up with. They resemble Sonobe units in many ways, but are folded from half a square rather than from a complete square. So far, all include color changes.
