I folded this piece from mirror paper, which probably consists of some kind of foil glued or sprayed onto regular paper, and could thus be considered a type of foil paper. However, this paper is thick and has different folding properties than typical foil paper used for origami. The mirror surface is very difficult to photograph well, especially head-on when reflections of the camera are very hard to avoid. Getting the exposure right, and making the white background not appear dark compared to the mirror are also quite challenging. The smooth, shiny surface highlights any scratch and unnecessary crease.
