Tryzub (Coat of Arms of Ukraine)

The Coat of Arms of Ukraine, called the Tryzub (Тризуб), Trident. This rendition in origami is simplified due to limitations of the medium and time. The power of symbols lies in their recognizability, not reproduction of all details.
While the first picture was taken right after folding so that I could publish it quickly, the second one was taken under studio lighting and shows how the same model can look much better when photographed under better conditions.
As the war continues and Ukrainian civilians come under more and more furious attacks, both those in Ukraine and those who found safety abroad need the rest of the world to come to their help. For my company’s blog (Allegro Tech), I wrote a short piece outlining how you can help humanitarian efforts regardless of where you live.
