TensionPot Op. 695

I folded this Tension Pot model during a workshop held by Robert J. Lang at 15th Origami Outdoor Meeting in Kraków, Poland. It’s an interesting shape that uses curved folds and starts from a heptagonal piece of paper. Folders received laser-scored Elephant Hide sheets, so there was no need to score the paper by hand. After precreasing, you can really feel the tension in this model and at first it doesn’t want to lay flat but during later collapse stages it tries to spring back into unfolded form. Still, it’s pretty stable if locks are folded tight.
