One way of looking at this model is to see it as an icosahedron with a pyramid placed on each triangular face. Another is seeing it as a dodecahedron where each pentagonal face consists of a 5-unit “fan”. These two ways of looking at the same model correspond to the dodecahedron and icosahedron being duals of each other.
