This modular woven polyhedron not only looks nice, but it also has a very interesting history of different people designing it independently. Those credited include: Robert J. Lang (who used the name Shishapangma since the model appeared in his Himalayan Peak series), Francesco Mancini, Jared Needle and Cheng Chit Leong. The module used is a modification of Francis Ow’s edge unit. Different designers used different tip angles — the version shown here uses the 60 degree unit.
