A Millwall Brick is an improvised weapon folded from a newspaper. Despite being made from paper, it can be quite dangerous as the tightly rolled layers become hard and form a kind of club. I learned about this quirky kind of practical origami quite recently, and found it an interesting case of engineering since the right folds change the properties of a sheet of paper quite significantly.
