Two variants of my Framed Heart model, variant A and variant B side by side. You can see how variant B has just one pleat going to the sides while variant B has two. Variant B is also more paper-effective, using a 14×12 grid instead of 14×14. Both things are usually advantages, but in this case they come at a cost. The different pleat arrangement makes it impossible to shape variant B as rounded as variant A.
