I designed this model, based on my Simple Elephant, for the wedding of two origami friends, Marcin and Natalia. Folded from a single 5:1 strip of red-gold Washi paper (dollar bill proportion paper cut in half lengthwise is also OK).

In a funny coincidence, on the very day I folded this model, Yara Yagi published a picture of her model called Little Elephants in Love which has a very similar name and subject.
