I folded this cuboctahedron from modified Open Frame Units (Tomoko Fuse) around 2013. Just 12 units are used, and without modification, they would create a regular cube rather than a cuboctahedron. Even though the idea behind the modification is quite simple, I really like the end result. It is “very three-dimensional”, which means pictures do not fully do it justice.
