Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine during this harsh winter have led to whole cities being cut off from electricity and heating. The temperature inside homes is often around freezing point. Humanitarian help is urgently needed, as well as air defenses for fending off these barbaric attacks.

The origami model, in its generic form just a simple thermometer, can be folded from a strip of paper. The proportions can be quite arbitrary. Most folds can be made relative to specific reference points or just by eye. Together, this means you can easily fold thermometers with different proportions and showing different temperatures.
