A giant penguin (designed by Blanka Pentela (Blunek) ascending King-Kong style the Palace of Culture and Science. This 250 m tall building was erected in Warsaw in the 1950’s as a sign of Soviet domination. Due to this legacy it remains a highly visible yet controversial accent in the city’s skyline to this day.
