Depending on context, this origami corrugation can be used as the Star of Bethlehem or just a standard comet. Designed and folded by me.

The model is folded from a square. The head uses the upper-left square from a 2 by 2 grid and the tail the lower-right, so the layout is diagonal. The other two squares are partially folded behind and partially visible in the transition from head to tail. There is slight bulging in this zone which is hidden by the perspective in this picture but can be seen in the deformation of the star’s rays near the tail. I’m not completely happy with this part of the model. If you cut away all the paper which goes unused, you would end up with a ratio of 1:(2⋅√2).
