Hex Twist Star (CFW 167)

Instructions for this model were published in Shuzo Fujimotos’s Twist Origami I, on page 23.

Basically, you start with an equilateral triangle of duo paper, fold the three corners to the center, and then proceed with folding CFW 120 from the resultant hexagon with color change. Due to the extra layers, you need a rather large sheet to fold the model conveniently (the triangle’s height is 1.5 times the height of the hexagon).
