Special Guest at Plener Origami 2023

What a year! I’ll be a special guest of another convention in 2023: Plener Origami (Outdoor Origami Meeting) in Kraków, Poland. The convention will take place on June 9-11, 2023. You can register from the convention page.

Plener Origami is a small but very interesting convention, and it holds a special place in my heart since it was the first convention I ever attended. Since the number of participants is dozens rather than hundreds, you get a lot of time to meet other participants, including the special guest. Workshop groups are relatively small, allowing you to fold more advanced models than would be possible in a large group. Exhibition space is practically unlimited. The convention is in English and Polish, with translation both ways where necessary. There is usually a creative team game one evening, and a lecture by the special guest on the subject Origami is Art. On top of that, it takes place in Cracow, one of Poland’s most beautiful cities. Come and enjoy folding together!
