Tissue foil

Tissue foil is a class of composite materials consisting of a sheet of thin paper (tissue) glued together with a sheet of metal (usually aluminum) foil. This kind of paper has very good memory thanks to the foil layer and thus allows shaping in ways which would be difficult to achieve with regular paper. Compared to foil paper, in tissue foil the metallic layer plays a more important role in the product’s final properties, though the difference between the two classes is a bit blurred.
