Last weekend (July 19th-21st) was the Polish origami convention, this year in Konin. Our two special guests were Juho Könkkölä and Steve De Clercq. Their folding styles are quite different, thanks to which everyone could enjoy the workshops. Besides a short walk in the old town the day before the convention, we stayed at a youth hostel on the outskirts of the city, with nothing to distract us from origami. There were, of course, official workshops, free folding late into the night, interesting discussions, a bonfire, and other fun activities, including a folding competition of subjects related to Konin, which produces some very interesting designs, including one of crazy complexity made by Juho.
