Wibalin Paper Review
Folding Flower Tessellation presented me with an opportunity to test Wibalin paper. This is a thick (125 gsm) paper originally designed for bookbinding. It is sold from a roll which makes cutting quite large sheets possible, but forces you to cut your own rectangles. Mine was not measured precisely enough which resulted in some imperfections in the grid and in the folded model. However, the paper folded nicely, including wet folding, and despite a rather smooth surface, appears quite photogenic. Overall I’m happy with the result and will try this paper for other tessellations, too.
